Film script for David Lynch’s Blue Velvet marked up according to film industry conventions. The dyeline print (light sensitive paper exposed via transparent positives and developed with ammonia) is unstable and fades in light: at some point the text will disappear, leaving behind only the coloured notations—a kind of ‘half-image’ residing somewhere-nowhere between script and film.
